Ford has raised the bar to new heights with the all-new 2015 F-150.
The 2015 F-150 is being manufactured with military grade aluminum which will replace the traditional steel exterior. As a result, the 2015 F-150 is expected to shed nearly 15 percent (or 700 pounds) of its body weight.
It’s a lean, mean efficiency machine.
Ford invested billions of dollars to make the conversion to aluminum in order to drastically improve the pickup’s fuel economy. The 2015 F-150 is expected to achieve a class-leading 30 miles per gallon during highway driving, according to Ford’s engineers.
